Kuapa Kokoo
The cocoa tree begins to blossom from the tree trunk
When the cocoa pods are yellow, they are ready to be picked
Inside the pod are the cocoa beans
The cocoa beans are wrapped in banana leaves, where they ferment, an important process which makes Ghanaian chocolate taste so good!
After fermentation, the cocoa beans are dried in the sun

At the AGM, members decide how to spend the Fairtrade premium as well as making other decisions
From the Fairtrade premium, Kuapa Kokoo farmers are able to invest in a water pump for their village
